To change the permissions on other folders, you need to boot the computer to Safe Mode and log in on the built in Administrator account. While in safe mode change the resolution that you are sending out over the DVI connection to the the monitior and on a vga cable attaching to the dvi port on the card. both work fine. it's dvi to dvi that doesn't work. this is something else isn't it?
